Green Things Manufacturing Inc, was founded by veteran Barry Hemphill and is based in San Diego, California. Mr. Hemphill is also the founder of the Work4Life Non-Profit Veteran’s Foundation and serves as the Chairman of both organizations.
Work4Life was founded for the purpose of creating hundreds of "green jobs" for disabled Veterans in conjunction with the necessary training and support services to help ensure successful integration into our nation’s workforce along with a fulfilling sense of contribution. Green Things Manufacturing was in turn founded to establish and serve as the national manufacturing company in support of the Work4Life Program and as such is a partner organization to Work4Life.
Green Things Manufacturing, Inc. has secured an exclusive manufacturing rights agreement with Tucson, Arizona based PEI Worldwide, Inc. to manufacture their proprietary line of economical and energy-efficient THURA-PRODUCTS™. Building products manufacturing plants will be placed across the U.S., commencing with those areas of the country having the highest population densities and where the building climate and economy is most favorable. The establishment of these product manufacturing facilities will generate an entire spectrum of jobs and employment opportunities for veterans and others ─ beginning with the multiple aspects associated with the manufacturing processes themselves and continuing through shipping, warehousing, sales, and the end-usage of the products in construction.
